Wood Splitter - no power needed.
#1
This is awesome! Easy, quick wood splitter that is totally manual in operation.

Pretty cool. I'm guessing it's real cold and that wood is frozen solid, best time to split it.

I'd like to give it a whirl, though. It would be wonderful to have a splitter that didn't use so much "wo"man power or any gasoline!

It's an interesting contraption but that's some pretty clean straight grained wood he is splitting also. I've seen ads for hand powered hydraulic splitters also. Here's one from Northern Tool:http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200631752_200631752?cm_mmc=Bing-{adtype}-_-Logging-_-Log%20Splitters-_-43500
Seems the link doesn't work lets try again

I've been splitting a literal ton (probably several to be honest) of wood lately. Have really grown to love my torpedo wedge and blue one from that company that starts with an E. Heck, my 7 year old step son has been splitting the straight grained stuff with just those and a 3lb hammer.
My friend and I do wedding photography, check out the link.
